Important Update concerning GreenHouse Mentoring

Last term, we sent out a notice to inform you that after serving the young people in the community for 25 years under the leadership of Stopsley Baptist Church (SBC), the Church Trustees have made the important decision that GHM will no longer run as a project of SBC as of 31st March 2026. 

In this time, the GHM team has worked extremely hard to find ways that we could keep this project going as we know how loved and valued it is among the families and organisations that we work with. I can personally assure you, we have explored every possible solution. 

As you were made aware, it was our hope that we could transition the project to its own charity number by April 2026. Sadly, despite our best efforts, this is not an achievable goal and we will not be continuing with this plan. 

It is with my deepest regret that I am writing to inform you of the upcoming closure of GreenHouse Mentoring. 

We are now working with SBC to begin the process of bringing the project to a close on March 31st 2026. 

I understand that this news may be difficult and upsetting for many of you and your children. Myself, our staff team, and GHM volunteer mentors will do everything we can to make sure that your children are supported through this time, and are prepared for the future. We want to use the time we have together to celebrate the fun we have had, the skills we have learned, and the memories that we have made. Our services will continue as usual until March 31st.
