Before we closed the door on another year at GreenHouse Mentoring, Sue, Catriona and I just wanted to say a few heartfelt thanks.
Thanks to all of our Volunteers who give up their time and energy to help young people in Luton through GHM.
Thanks to all of you who have supported all the crazy schemes Ian has come up with and also to those of you who have joined the “Give a cup of coffee scheme” and give a small regular sum to GHM
(see https://greenhousementoring.org.uk/fund-raising/spare-a-cup-of-coffee/ if you would like to find out more!)
Thank you to all the new Volunteers who came along in October and November for the GHM ONLINE course and ploughed through video modules, quizzes, forms, assignments and questionnaires and have now become Mentors – your certificates have been created and your id’s are coming too. A special thank you to Marcus who really made it possible to get the new course available in time.
Thank you to our long suffering staff who have worked on through the pandemic, adjusting to a different way of working.
Thank you to our sponsors and trusts that made it all possible – especially BBC Children in Need, Wixamtree Trust, Garfield Weston Foundation, Co-op Local Community Fund, Tesco Foundation and the Bedfordshire & Luton Community Foundation as part of the London Luton Airport Limited Luton Youth Fund.
Lastly, thank you to the GHM Management Committee for their wisdom, oversight, help and encouragement in all the work of GreenHouse Mentoring.
Wishing you all a very good Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Sue ,Catriona and Ian
